Nova Scotia: Liberals have a Smashing victory ending 15 years of conservative rule in the province,
Liberals chained 40 out of 52 legislative seats. In the last Nova Scotia legislature, the Tories had 25 seats, the liberals 20, the NDP 3.and independents 2. John Savage will become the new Premier of Nova Scotia, he will be the fourth Liberal Premier in the Atlantic region joining Clyde Wells in New Foundland, Frank Mekenno in new Bronswick and Catherine Call beck in Prince Edward Island. John Savage said that his government’s number one priority is to attack unemployment.
