Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President, G.S. Tohra, has called for a “GLOBAL SIKH MEET” onNovember2427, 1994 at Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar, The letter of invitation, written by Tohra, invites Sikhs from all over the world to attend the program. This Meeting is being held to celebrate the 400th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib and the Birth Tercentenary of the Khalsa Panth.
According to the letter, this four day meeting will “provide us with a unique opportunity to know each other, feel the pulse of different layers of our society, interact on the various issues and arrive at purposeful decisions for the glonous future of the Panth “The Meet has on its agenda “the multiple challenges and threats to the Sikh identity, scriptures, doctrines and history, etal. The agenda also includes discussion on varied challenges faced by the Sikhs on social, political and economic fronts” that Sardar Tohra, who has controlled the SGPC for the last 16 years, still does not know what the Sikh Nation wants. He wants to hay this Global Sikh Meet to “feel the pulse” of the Sikh Nation. If Tohra does not know, or is pretending not to know, then let us educate him and clearly tell him that the Sikh Nation wants a sovereign and independent Khalistan. That the Sikh Nation ‘Wants him to start 4 Shantmai Morchatoliberate Khalistan. That the Sikh Nation wants to end the tyranny of the Indian Government removing Indian forces from the Sikh homeland, Khalistan.
This meeting, held under the auspices of the Sri Akal Takht Sahib, will provide the Sikh Nation with a golden opportunity. We will have the world’s attention. Sikhs from all over must raise their voice together for Sikh freedom. This is the forum for Sikhs to raise the slogan “India Quit Khalistan!” and of begin a Shantmai Morcha to liberate our homeland. We must stress that our struggle will be peaceful, nonviolent, of noncooperation and democratic.
Liberation is not on Tohra’s agenda. Throughout this letter of invitation, not once does he mention Khalistan or freedom for the Sikh nation. In fact, all of the issues mentioned, such as the threat to Sikh identity, scriptures and history, would be resolved by the sovereignty of Khalistan. Yet, Khalistanis omitted from the agenda. This omission is intentional, but not surprising. All of us know how much Tohra and his Akalis have contributed to Sikh freedom.
Tohra claims that this Meeting is to celebrate the 400th Anniversary of Gumi Hargobind Sahib. How could Tohra ignore Khalistan? Khalistan is the true tribute to Guru Hargobind Sahib, Guru Hargobind Sahib gave the Sikh Nation Miri and Pirt Yet. we have forsaken half of the Gum’s gift. We have allowed the Indian Government to take our Miri from us, Tohra claims the Meeting is also in celebration of the 300th Birthday of the Khalsa Panth, Khalsa is ordained to be free, It is only fitting to celebrate the Tercentenary of the Khalsa Panth in a free and sovereign Khalistan. Guru has givens sovereignty. Remember, Khalsa Bagi Ya Bodsha. We must begin a Shantmai Morcha to liberate Khalistan.
This meeting can be a great opportunity for the Sikh Nation. But. it can also be a great opportunity for the chimc has of the Indian government once again to betray the Sikh Nation. If Tohra and his Akalis are allowed to dictate the agenda, it will prove detrimental to the Sikh Nation, They will present to the world the impression that the Sikhs do not want their freedom. That the Sikhs in Punjab. Khalistan are happy under the Hindu, government’s oppression. That there is no torture, No rape, no murders in Punjab, Khalistan. They will present the facade that the Sikhs do not want Khalistan. And, provided with no other image, the rest of the world will believe them.
We have been the victim of poor leadership for many years. But have we been strong enough on holding these “leaders” responsible for their actions? Baldey Singh acted foolishly when he allowed Nehru to stop him from claiming the Sikh homeland. We know which Sikh “leaders” are betraying us today. They have betrayed themselves and the Sikh Nation, They have betrayed the Guru. Gumi granted us RajKarega Khalsa and these cowardly, foolish and dishonest “leaders” are prolonging the agony of the Sikh Nation. For that, they will never be forgiven. We must reclaim our Raj, We declared Khalistan’s independence on October 7, 1987. We must liberate Khalistan from the oppressive Indian Government.
In Khalistan, we will control our own destiny. With political power comes economic power and military power. In Khalistan we will build an education sys second to none, we will stop corruption. There will be justice for everyone, Minority rights will be preserved.
Three million Sikhs outside Khalistan are a great asset to freedom for Khalistan, They will provide the necessary professional, technical, and financial help to develop Khalistan, Sikh youth will go there every summer a sex change students. When they go to the Golden Temple, they will remember their roots, the youth form Khalistan will come here as exchange students. Sikh boys and girls will be able to marry; Sikhs all over the world will carry dual citizenship as Jews do.
with independence, Khalistan will have a representative at the United Nations and ambassadors in every country in the world, if Sikhs are mistreated anywhere in the world, our representative will make sure that those injustices are immediately brought to the world’s attention and that faimess is restored, It is the duty of the Sikh leadership to expedite the liberation of Khalistan. It is foolish of the leadership not to lead a Shantmai Morcha to liberate Khalistan from tyrannical Indian occupation. We must hold these leaders responsible for their actions. We must build international support for the liberation of Khalistan through a Shananat Morcha and expose the Indian government’s brutal tyranny to the world. If the leadership will not stand up for Khalistan, they will lose the support of the Sikh Nation.. The future of Khalistanis in our hands. We musi not waste this opportunity. If this meeting is to discuss the issues and challenges facing the Sikh Nation, then let true and loyal Sikhs be heard, The Sikh masses, both ‘within Khalistan and) without, must join together to attend this meeting. We must insist and ensure that the voice of the Sikh Nation, and not that of the chimc has of the Indian Government, is heard, And that Khalsa , Voice must unequivocally demand freedom for Khalistan! “This Global Meeting is open to “all Sikhs. If we do not take the responsibility for the future ‘of the Sikh Nation into our own hands, Tohra will. And there is no doubt where Tohra’s loyalties lie. If he is given this Responsibility, the Indian Government will control the agenda and the Sikh Nation will suffer severely.
For the Sikh Nation, the only Solution is Khalistan. The Indian Government will not give us Khalistan, These traitor Sikh leaders will not get us Khalistan. We, the Sikh Nation, must free Khalistan ourselves. We must Tally behind those Sikh leaders that are loyal to the Khalsa Panth and) reclaim the Khalsa Raj. Attend this Global Sikh Meet and let Tohra know that we want Khalistan and we will have Khalistan. Begin a Shantmai Morcha with Ardas at the Sri Akal Takh Sahib. This is the true tribute to Guru Hargobind ‘Sahib and to the Khalsa Panth. We have the blessing of the Gun and the strength of the Khalsa.
