I am writing to you regarding some of the recent Letters to WSN. I am surprised to read some of the letter writers who do not want for you write about certain personalities. Press has some responsibilities to fulfill. Anybody who wants to be public life and live off public funds should be ready to face the press.
As people in America say Freedom of the press is aright freedom from the press is an illusion. Look at the way people for important public jobs are scrutinized by the press. This gives strength to individuals and an institution not weakens them. Look at the way Russians have been trying to keep everything secret and system has collapsed there is no secret any more. You should not worry about the criticism of these pseudo intellectuals and pseudo leaders however your information should be based upon the facts and be correct then let the Sikh masses be the judge.
You should raise more healthy controversies and educate the people. We need to know more about these leaders who want to lead us It is important to note how the American press reports the doings of Bushes Quales and Kennedys. This has not weakened the country.
