Sir,

The special supplement in your esteemed paper dated July 21st most appropriately called, “So Much Suffering, So Much Shame” is shocking to read and it left me in a very devastated and shattered mind.

It would be the last thing one would expect from the Indian administration in Punjab, A country that proudly speaks for the role of women in society and then subjects them to suffer and hide in shame and sorrows truly barbaric and inhuman. International agencies, should probe these incidents and bring to the world at large the loot, rape and plunder of my dear Punjab by the Delhi government all in the name of President’s rule. I praise your publication for informing me and others about the inhuman acts being perpetrated on womanhood in Punjab.

The devil should not be let free, of these crimes, Sikhs in the western democracies ought to raise their voices higher and higher for the rulers in New Delhi, do not hear your whispers.

It’s a crying shame that hardly any leading lights in India have even voiced their reaction to such atrocities. So much for the so called democracy and secularism, India is no more it is just Bharat which is just Hindu rule.

I hope your special supplement ‘Opens the eyes of Sikhs and rest of the world, so that more sorrow and suffering are not Repeated.
