Sir,

It was shocking to read in your December 15th issue, “Sukhdev Singh heads PHRO,” I clearly remember that a few months ago it was the same people motivated by Personal gain who had said that Justice Bains was standing for elections.

I had informed about some of the activities of some individuals which were anti PHRO and clearly did not fall within the guidelines of PHRO, which think must have been conveyed to them during his U.S. visits.

PHRO has played a significant role in present Sikh struggle but certain power hungry people want to take all the credit and in turn harm the organization. One must remember that in Sikhism credit belongs to Waheguru, and Wahegurualone. (Waheguru Ji Ka KhaIsa Waheguru ji Ki Fateh).

Honesty, sincerity, dedication, hard work and guts of Justice Bains to make PHRO, an effective organization are unforgettable, unparalleled, UN doubtable and unchallenged as is evident from his lifelong commitment to humanitarian causes. His decisions on the bench are on record.
