“Dear Mr. Mann,
On Dec 8, 1989, I wrote to you to openly express the views and sentiments of the Sikh masses. It is with deep regret I write to you once again to inform you that by your actions you have abandoned the Sikh cause and have betrayed the Sikh nation. You have stabbed the freedom movement from the back! Let me remind you that the blood shed by thousands of Sikh martyrs will never go in vain. The Sikh nation will cherish the glow of freedom thanks to the sacrifices made by its martyrs. Let me also remind you that Sikhs will never abandon their friends and never forget or forgive their traitors. You and your cohorts were elected because the government of India associated your names with the freedom movement. You not only dashed their hopes and aspirations you even abandoned your faith and took the oath under the constitution which does not recognize you as a Sikh. Your aspiration for power is a golden dream. It is a very charming dream and your lust for power and greed has overpowered your sense of duty and responsibility towards human beings in general and Sikhs in particular Zail Singh, Buta Singh, Darbara Singh, Harchand Singh, Surjit Singh Barnala, and Jasbir Singh Rode are all victims of this lust and greed and now you and your cohorts have become the victims of the same disease.
Let me remind you that every human’s life is equally important. At Sarai Naga Gurdwara the birth place of Sri Guru Angad Dev Ji you killed four defenders of the Sikh faith with your own service revolver and during the past four years you have been paying the price for that crime. Now by your action you will be responsible for thousands of innocent killings and you will never be able to pay for this crime during your life time. Remember S. Harjinder Singh Jinda, Sukhdev Singh Sukha, Ranjit Singh Gill, Sukhmander S. Sandhu and thousands of known and unknown Sikhs who are being tortured day and night at various places and as human beings, their lives are equally important. Why can’t you lead a peaceful movement, surround those police stations, torture centers, and jails where Sikh youth are being tortured? Lives of those individuals are more important than sharing power in the government whose future is uncertain and unknown. Your actions have proven that you do not have the will or the courage to lead the Sikh nation at this critical moment. We need a leader with determination like Sant Jarnail Singh. Nelson Mandela who recently spent his.28th consecutive Christmas behind bess and in spite of 28 years of pain and suffering his demand is still freedom for his people, or Harjinder Singh Jinda who wrote to his mother not to file an appeal because freedom will not be achieved without sacrifice and he must sacrifice his life to see that the Sikh nation can cherish freedom.
We do not believe in violence but we do believe that Sikhs cannot live in peace in India. They must have their own sovereign state where they can live in peace and practice their faith without any interference by any government; WSO has made its pledge to support the liberation of Khalistan by peaceful means. We stand by our pledge and will support only those organizations or individuals who subscribe to this objective.
