Writing under the heading, “Hardcore” in the April 3, 1989 issue of “The Tribune” Chandigarh. Mrs. Madha Saharan of Suratgarh Cantomement (India) stated:

“Everyday a number of hard Core terrorists are killed or captured in Punjab. This has been going on for five years. If the figure for the past five years is added up, it comes to nearly 20,000 But this has not affected the killing rate or the effectiveness of the “hardcore. can you recover deleted files ”

“How big is the hardcore?”

Mrs. Madhu Saharan has posed a very thought provoking question.

We are living in the age of communication media. Those who control the media control the dissemination of what is fed to the reading public. We all know that news media in India is completely under the control of the government. The Government gives to the news media what it wants the reading public to know. Therefore, to assure the feelings of the public, it gives the news as stated by Mrs. Madhu Saharan. As she has tallied the total of “hardcore” in South Vietnam tallied the numbers of Vietkong killed to mislead the American public in the 60’s and the 70’s truth finally came out in the United States about the misleading statistics. It will also come out in case of India.

By now it has been well documented that Rajiv Gandhi’s men in Punjab ie S.S. Ray and J.F. Riebero have publicly acknowledged on numerous occasions that terrorism in Punjab has come to stay. By this of course they mean is the STATE TERRORISM. The Sikhs who are up in arms against the occupying governments forces in Punjab are freedom fighters. Sevaraj for Lokmanya Bal Ganya Dhar Tilak was his birth right. So is it for the Sikhs in Punjab today. So was is for S. Bhagat Singh and countless other Sikhs who licked the gallows to fight for ones just rights is not terrorism and it is in keeping with the Sikh belief and tradition.

Since state terrorism in Punjab has come to stay so has the Sikh determination and resolve to break the shackles of slavery. The sooner Rajiv, Ray and Riebiero pack up and leave the golden territory of Khalistan, the better. This would certainly held in saving a few lives.
