With the grace of Wahe Guru I am trying explain some thing and I wish my brothers and sisters will appreciate.
In World Sikh News of May 2 1986, Bhai Sahib Amanjit Singh Ji Buttar has given an alternate explanation to the one given by Bhai Sahib Surjit Singh Ji Maur of the following line in Japuji Sahib: Bhai Sunjit Singh has explained the line in the same way as done by Bhai Sahib Singh and Bhai Vir Singh Ji. Above all the same explanation was given to Baba Deep Singh Ji and Bhai Sahib Bhai Mani Singh Ji by Great Guru Gobind Singh Ji which passed from one Jathedar to another Jathcedar of Damdami Taksal till it was recorded in the Nit Nam Tikka by the 13th Jathedar of Damdami Taksal Sant Kartar Singh Ji KhaIsa, In that Tikka the explanation is the same as quoted by Bhai Sahib Surjit Singh Ji and it is further explained with a true Sakhi, I would send a copy of that to Bhai Sahib Amarjit Singh Ji Buttar if so desired by him or I can send World Sikh News for publication.
Mr. Mac Aullife has written some books about Sikh religion but he is not an authentic authority as he was a stranger to the Sikh spirit and Sikh philosophy. I ‘would humbly request Bhai Sahib Amarjit Singh Buttar to spend more time studying Sikh religion written by Gur-Sikh scholars and teachers
To misinterpret Gurbani is an insult to our Guru Granth Sahib Ji I know Bhai Sahib Amarjit Singh Ji Butttar has not done it intentionally.
At the end I would like to make a request to my brothers and sisters to study Gurbani more diligently, before writing about it in a News Paper as Guru Ji says;
BANI GURU, GURU HAY BANI WICH BANI AMRIT SARAY. GURBANI KAHEY SEWAK JAN MANEYH PARTAKH GURU NISTARE.
Gurbani is our Guru. If we want to learn its correct message then ‘we should go to recognized Sikh scholars of the Bani.
