Sir,
Please accept my congratulation on your election as the first President of the Soviet Union. You really deserved it. The present image of the Soviet Union is your credit.
You have made a great contribution to the Soviet Union and also to the relationship between the Western world and the Soviet Union. To my mind you have done more for the Soviet Union than the contribution of Marx and Lenin.
Dear Friend! It would be appropriate to give you credit for the revolution in the Eastern Europe. You are not a man of 1989 or any other year but you have in your personality a rare quality.
Your opponents are not satisfied with the revolutionary steps taken by you. They are interested in your fall. My friend don’t fall a prey to the evil designs of such persons.
The declaration of Lithuania (to be followed by Latvia and Bolivia) should not have troubled you. Lithuania is not your defeat, it is your victory. A friendly neighbor Lithuania will be an assist to you. One should create friends and not enemies. Baltic States shall prove good friends. So join in their jubilations.
You shall be still great if you go beyond these zones. The Sikh nation, the Kashmiris, the Dravids, and the rest of the freedom fighters of the world should now, be your concern. Dear friend, rise for the help of the enslaved nations of the world. Mikhail Gorbachev should emerge as a champion of freedom of humanity. World beyond Communist countries should also be your concern. George Bush and Mikhail Gorbachev can make this world “one family” and freedom of all the nations is must for this achievement.
Once more I congratulate you on your election as the first president of the Soviet Union. May God (Waheguru) bless you?
