During the week of October 27, 1991, N.B.C. on its “To- day” show discussed world religions, they discussed all Major religions except the youngest and yet most vibrant one (i.e. Sikhism).
I suggest to the readers of World Sikh News to write to Producer of the “Today” show and inform him of the inadequacy of the information since it did not discuss the most modem and scientific religion in their program. Needless to say, we are not only settled all ‘over the world but numerically we are of the same strength as, Jews.
The address is as follows: Program Manager, Today Show, National Broad- casting Corporation (N.B.C.), 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York City, and NY 10112.
The writers may include a small write-ups like pamphlets ‘or booklets containing salient features of Sikhism, preferably illustrated with pictures, col- ‘red or otherwise, explaining Sikhism.
This combined and concerted efforts of the Sikhs in North ‘America will go a long way in educating a powerful wing of the news media about the Sikhs, Let’s not procrastinate in this worthwhile project and make our contribution in this regard.
