Sir,
In the October 2nd 9 16 and 23 issues of W.S.N. I have been reading authentic and well researched articles by various well known authors on Blasphemy by Bhai Pashaura Singh a student of Mr.WH. McLeod who is trying to muddy the truth Unlike Harjit Oberao Pashaura Singh and Surjit Hans is an ordinary Sikh as opposed to these so called intellectuals. From the historical perspective we know that as soon as Gurbani was revealed and given to the masses by Guru Nanak the arch enemies of Truth-The Brahmins and Hindus started their dirty work of mixing their own ideas and misinterpreting Gurbani for their selfish greedy benefits. First it was Handhal and his son Hari Ram who received Manjis from Guru Amardas ji. These people concocted “Janam Sakhi of Bala” why Bhai Handhal has to tell the Janam Sakhi to Guru Angad ji when they could have known everything from Guru Nanak?
Then came Bhai Bano who wants to include poetry of Shah Hussain Peelu Bule Shah and Jallan into Guru Granth Sahib. The Poetry that was already rejected by Guru Arjan ji. Then came Pirthi Chand Dheer Malis Ram Rayiaas etc. Then came the British rulers and these missionaries to belittle the Khalsa Panth. More recently came The Radha Swamis Nakli Nirankaris Nirmalas Naam Dharis Darshan Dassics Dodhra Walas and Rajneesh etc. to propagate their nonsense against the word of God-Gurbani.
Now is the tum of these so called intellectuals installed in these Sikh chairs in various places by the enemies of the Khalsa Panth. There is only one thing these people do not understand and that is “Sach Na Lagai Mail.” Their materialistic life style and over-rationalized way of thinking on spiritual matters will never get them anywhere. Whatever is in black and white cannot be denied. It’s only the interpretation that one can dispute to some extent
Sikhs are already facing a dreadful threat to their existence from a deceitful and most cruel enemy the government of India and its touts. We do not have time to waste on these useless attacks on Sikh religion. Let’s strengthen the hands of our people in Punjab and India to free them from the shackles of slavery as Sikhs have always done in the past and are sacrificing their precious lives today to express solidarity with the oppressed and the tortured.
