NEW DELHE: Over 120 Supreme Court Lawyers on Tuesday expressed their solidarity with the opposition leaders who have resigned their membership of the Lok Sabha in protest against the refusal of the Government to resign on the Bofors issues.
In a statement they also appreciated the service rendered by the Comptroller and Auditor General in exposing the “Ugly Facade” of the Rajiv Gandhi government “who siphoned off crores of rupees” from the poor citizens of this country.
They expressed their faith in public man like T.N. Chaturvedi, CAG, who withstood all pressures. of the Government, “unlike many other constitutional authorities who are acting like the agent of Rajiv Gandhi and his Congress I.”
