VERMONT (L.A): The President of Gurudwara Mr.H.S. Malhi said. The construction of the Gurdwara is going on in Hollywood. A Coordination Committee consisting of five members was formed to raise money for the completion of the building. They raised a loan of $500000 on the basis of their personal guarantee. These members are great and are dedicated to complete the building.
He further said that General Contractor has scheduled to resume the construction the 1st week of March. However the most difficult part of the construction a foundation of underground two level parking has already been completed. The framing of the 1st floor is expected to be completed in March.
Mr Malhi thanked the members of Sangat for their generous donations and requested further donations so that this monumental building of L.A. Gurdwara be completed at the earliest. Those who have made commitments to donate please send as soon as possible so that the goal of completion can be achieved by September 92.
