CHANDIGARH: Punjab police chief KPS Gill no longer feels at home in the state and wants to be transferred out of Punjab, according to official sources.
Gill lobbied for the post of Director General, C.R.P.F., following reluctance shown by M.R. Qureshi was tipped for the job. Qureshi is at present advisor to the Governor of Kashmir.
Gill had earlier tried to get the post of director general of National Security Guard but had not succeeded.
