KENT ENGLAND: In a statement released by Khalistanis President in exile, Bhai Sewa Singh Lalli it is learned that he has appealed to the Jathedar Sahib of Akal Takht (the Sikhs top religious leader) to ex-communicate Punjab govt. leader, Beant Singh. In his petition to the Jathedar Sahib, Bhai Lalli said, “Jathedar Sahib Ji, Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki fateh. Very humbly and respectfully, i beg to submit as follows By taking part in the charade of elections in April this year, Beant Singh defied the Sikh Panth’s clear injunction to boycott the elections and, by so doing, sabotaged the nation’s struggle for independence from the enemy who has been guilty, inter alae, of desecrating repeatedly Sri Akal Takht Sahib and many other shrines, killing of thousands of innocent pilgrims and perpetrating violation of Sikh honor and human nights. ii)By accepting and taking up office as the puppet Chief Minister of Punjab, he has further strengthened the hands of the enemy Government of India and further lowered the prestige of the Sikhs in the comity of nations. iii)By giving his tacit approval ‘and support to the Indian security forces in their heinous crimes in the Punjab, he has made the Punjab, he has made himself responsible for the killing, torture and detention of innocent Sikh youths, raping of Sikh women and destruction of Sikh property.

Sri Akal Takht Sahib, as the focal point and supreme custodian of the Sikh honor, has the authority to try and punish the perpetrators of such offences.

From the days of the first Sikh state of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Sri Akal Takht Sahib has repeatedly exercised this authority to try and punish powerful offenders. Even in recent years, it punished a former Chief Minister of Punjab, Surjeet Singh Barnala.

In view of the authority vested in, and the precedents set by, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, and in view of the position of trust you hold as its Jathedar Sahib, I plead with you to summon the said Beant Singh to Sri Akal Takht Sahib, try him on the above charges and impose the maximum punishment that such offenders deserve,

I  hope you will agree with me that ¢x-communication is the minimum punishment such offends deserve.
