NEW DELHI: A Delhi Sessions Court directed the Delhi Police to return the articles of Kehar Singh who was executed in the Indira Gandhi assassination case, to his widow Jasbir Kaur.
Additional Sessions Jude. P.K Jain, ordered that the articles be returned to Jasbir Kaur under proper receipt and necessary direction be issued to the SHO of Tughlak Road’ police station in this regard.
Public Prosecutor G.S. Mehra said the articles were no longer required and there was no objection to returning them.
Kehar Singh was falsely implicated in the Indira Gandhi assassination case and hanged by the corrupt Indian judicial system despite international pressure.
