Thank you for recently sending me the report by Human Rights Watch on India. I appreciate being kept informed of the situation in the Punjab. This past year the Congressional Human Rights Caucus held several briefings and made several appeals directly to the Indian government focusing on human rights. In additional met personally with the Indian Ambassador and made clear my concerns for the people in the Punjab Kashmir and the rest of India
