JAMMU: Kashmiri Hindus, have accused the central government of being “indifferent” towards their plight and demanded creation of suitable conditions and incentives for their immediate return to the valley.
Thousands of Kashmiri families have been forced to leave their homes in Kashmir since the militants launched a freedom campaign in Kashmir. Several of them are living in makeshift camps in the Delhi, Jammu and several other Cities.
A resolution, adopted at a three day convention on the “Future of Kashmiri Pand its” here Saturday, said minorities had ethnic, moral and legal right over Kashmir and that Kashmiri Hindus should be reorganized in a manner that will create a security zone with concentrated population in the valley.
The resolution also demanded licensed arms to every family of the minority along with suitable training in the use of firearms. These demands are not only just but also well founded in the experience of the past 40 years in the context of politics of Kashmir, it said,
