NEW DELHI(PTI): Former Jammu and Kashmir state chief minister Dr, Farooq Abdullah has said India would never give in to Pakistan’s designs to dismember it as Kashmir is an integral part of this country. Speaking at the world conference on human rights in Vienna last week, Dr.Abdullah lashed out at Pakistan for levelling malicious, motivated and baseless allegations against India. Farooq Abdullah, the son of Sheikh Abdullah has no following in the valley and lives either at Delhi or in London. The Indian government conveniently uses him as a figurehead to show to the world that it has support of prominent Muslims in India. Muslims in Kashmir and the rest of India have branded him an Indian stooge. “The continued attempts at inter nationalizing an issue, which had emerged as an issue because of Pakistan’s activities, would not be allowed to encroach on India’s integrity”, he added.
