NEW DELHI (PTI): The first ever world Kashmiri Pandit conference bringing together Hindus from the northern most Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir concluded here in the Indian capital last week with an unanimous declaration demanding carving Out a union territory in Kashmir valley exclusively for Kashmiri pandits find Commanding that the federal government sever diplomatic ties with Pakistan after declaring it a terrorist State.
The conference organized by Panun Kashmir said a union territory area should be carved in the north-cast of the river Jhelum to resettle the 700,000 Kashmir pandits who had been forced to leave their homes.
The uninhibited Now of the constitution of India in letter and spirit will be made applicable to Panun Kashmir 85 the union territory has been named in the declaration.
Other major resolutions adopted were the setting up of a Sharad Peeth a University in exile to promote Kashmiri art culture and language Setting up of a Kashmiri cultural data resource base forming of Kashmiri pandits cells overseas to educate the World opinion about ethnic cleansing and genocide of Kashmiri Hindus and to forge alliance with Dogras Ladakhis and Shia to counter fundamentalist forces in Kashmir.
