KANSAS CITY, Ks. Construction of Gurdwara at an initial cost of $1, 50,000 is nearing completion in Kansas City. Foundation stone of this yet another milestone in Sikh culture was laid in November, 1985. MidWest Sikh Association took keen interest in the construction of the building. Its leaders S. Harbhajan Singh Hundal and S. Attar Singh devoted their time to see the construction completed.
Although, some internal bickering hampered speedy progress but ‘on the whole local sangat showed enthusiasm and donated the money liberally. The Gurdwara will meet the social, cultural and religious needs of the Sikhs residing in the 200 miles radius from Kansas City.
