The boys attempted to get the weapons from the trunk of Gill’s car. Gill tried to pull a gun from his pocket bat was stopped by one of the young men. Then Gill’s companion took a revolver from Gill’s pocket and held it to one boy’s head during the altercation.
‘The young men took Gill by the tie and dragged him to his car and then took his turban from him as a way to insult the much hated former policeman.
The young boys disappeared into the crowd before the police arrived. Gill and his companions went back to the hotel, canceled the remainder of their trip and were back in Delhi that same night.
