Further, the S.A. Dal President, Longowal, had castigated Sant Bhindranwala for his alleged propagation of recourse to the sword whereas he himself (Longowal) was for a peaceful agitation. Sant Bhindranwala had contended that, when all other means fail, recourse to the sword is justified according to the Guru’s unequivocal pronouncement”.
Chunkar Az Hama Heelte Dar Guzosht Hallal Ast Burdan ba Shamsheer-e-Dast.
Even Mahatma Gandhi, the apostle of non-violence, had told the Sikhs to take to the sword in perfect justification before man and God, in case the Indian National Congress failed them after independence. The trusting Sikhs were taken by his duplicity and have only themselves to blame for having followed a leadership which, according to the late Jathedar of Aktal Takhat, Singh Sahib Bhai Gurdial Singh Ji Ajnoha, “The present Akali High Command will never do any work of the Sikh Panth.” One of the writers had met him in the first week of August, 1981 A.D. at his Official residence in the Golden Temple Complex -and was stunned by what the Jathedar had, Said. Sensing his disbelief, the Singh Sahib Proceeded to explain why and how had he come to such a sad conclusion, unfortunately for the Sikhs, his (Ajnoha’s) Prophecy stands fully vindicated today. At another occasion, Ajnoha Sahib had ex- pressed similarly view about the Akali leaders of his time in a congregation in the Singh Sabha Gurdwara, Sector-19, Chandigarh, in the presence of late Hukam Singh, Speaker of India’s Lok Sabha, ujaagar Singh Sekhwan of the Longowal faction was also present. Jathedar Ajnoha said “Akali leaders of today do not care even for the orders Of the Akal Takhat”. This was in the presence of the same writer. The propaganda offensive against the Sikhs by the majority community has be- come an essential element in the socio- political environment into which the S.A. Dal under Master Tara Singh had thrown them at the time of partition, but it takes on a new dimension at every crucial turn of the events as al present. The new dimension is a cry for the protection and safeguarding of mother India’s sovereignty and integrity/unity. This “Pseudo-Speak” slogan conveys to the Hindus the message that the time has come to strike a fatal blow to the Sikh religion which has for so long bothered the sacred Brahmanism and threatened to incite India’s rural have-nots against the Elitist-Urbanites and thus break their strangle-hold on the Indian polity. The credit for beheading this monster of Sikhism, made synonymous with Khalistan and the Amritdhari Sikhs, and, which had defied earlier attempts by Emperor Jahangeer and Aurangzeb who had tried to close this shop Sikhism, (the house of Nanak) of Kuffar’s (falsehood, unholy) by killing and beheading the fifth and ninth Gurus respectively. The present enemies of the Khalsa Panth are confident that they can accomplish easily what the Mughals had failed to achieve. The Muslim enemies of Sikhs were naive honest in so far that they called a spade a spade. They recorded events of Sikh velour and character truth- fully and faithfully. The present adversary uses just the reverse in language and expression to describe their own actions and nefarious deeds against the Sikhs and the Sikh religion, Thus in their ‘Pseudo-Speak Jargon’ the Golden Temple and Akal Takhat have been placed under the protective custody of the Indian Army so that the Amnitdhari Sikh terrorists, separatists etc. of the pseudo-speak may not commit sacrilege of their own religious institutions. Thus Mrs. Gandhi, adorned by the new mantle given to her by all shades of Hindu political schools of “Bharat Mata’, also called by some other quarters Kali Mai’, has struck a strident new line of propaganda that the army invasion of Golden Temple Complex as of all other Gurdwaras of note in the Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pardesh, Delhi etc. is to protect them against the Sikhs. For this purpose she practiced hypocrisy by visiting and praying in the Golden Temple on June 23, 1984 A.D. She was particular that she should be accompanied on this occasion by Sikh Generals Pa not the area Corps Commander
Lt, General Sunderji, G.O.C, Western Command. The Sikh Generals in attendance suited her propaganda line. Another and a more subtle line of attack was the lie told by the media and herself that the Golden Temple was not fired on. In the event, the Golden Temple bore more than three hundred bullet marks in addition to the shooting of one devotee.
