SRINAGAR: A three man bench of the Kashmir High Court Comprising chief Justice S.S. Kang and Justice S M Rizvi issued notice to former governor Jagmohan to show because why he should not be prosecuted.
The petitioner, the newly formed People’s Basic Rights Protection Committee under the chairmanship of a former chief justice of the high court Mufti Faroogi had filed the petition on June 2 7 seeking the trail of Jagmohan for “genocide, torture and molestation and other acts of oppression inflicted on the people of Kashmir by his orders.”
