WSN Service JAMMU: Yasin Malik, commander in chief of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front who was seriously injured in an alleged encounter with the Indian police at Narwarha has succumbed to his injuries. According to official sources another top JKLF leader Mohammad Yasin was also killed in the same encounter.
Shaugat Bakshi area commander and Iqbal Gandroo JKLF military advisors and another top leader Hafiz Badar were arrested.
Javed Ahmed one of the five militants released in exchange for Rubiya Sayed the home ministers daughter was also arrested. A large quantity of arms and explosives were recovered from their hideout.
