FORTH WORTHTX: The JCC-SIFE team along with their faculty adviser Pritpal Singh Chatha; attended the SIFE Regional Competition on April 22-23, 1992 at Fort Worth Texas The JCC team is a member of Empire Gas Corporation League. There were five leagues competing at the same time.

The SIFE students in Free Enterprise team competed against major universities and colleges in the Empire Gas Corporation League competition. Some of the institutions worth mentioning were the University of Houston Downtown; Southwest Missouri State University the University of the Ozarks; East Texas State University; Southern Utah University; Grambling State University and others.

In spite of the odds of being a small and Minority college bad equipment lack of practice in the main competition hall (Texas Ball Room C&D) the JCC -SIFE Team finished as a runner up. The University of Houston was a Finalist.

Jarvis Christian College may feel proud to know that there were almost 10 minority institutions in the Five League Competitions The JCC SIFE team was the only team to receive this honor The Channel 5 (Fort Worth) covered the SIFE Regional Expo.

The following SIFE members; who brought this recognition to Jarvis Christian College deserve mentioning. They are Rice Torence Rhonda Stewart Wendell Johnson Orglenda Williams Brian Dunn Brenda Shed Mark Layne and Rosilyn Turner.
