TRACY: A large number of friends, relatives, luminaries and a wide cross section of the Sikh Community of California came together at Tracy Ballroom, Tracy, CA on Saturday, July 15, 1989 to participate in the Wedding of Samarpreet Kaur Sidhu, daughter of S. Sukhdey Singh Sidhu and Sardarni Daljeet Kaur Sidhu of Ludhiana and Jatinder Singh Hundal, son of S. Joginder Singh Hundal and Sardami Kuljit Kaur Hundal of Salem, Oregon. Samarpreet K, Sidhu is the niece of Dr. Gurinder Singh Grewal and Mrs. Gurmail Kaur Grewal who made all these arrangements on behalf of the Sidhu family.
The marriage ceremonies were performed in a religious atmosphere in accordance with the Sikh Tites in a beautifully decorated packed Hall.
After the Anand Karaj ceremony, reception was held in an adjoining hall, where the famous Shane Punjab cultural group did melodic lawful verity entertainment. Some enthusiastic guests took the floor and thrilled the guests with their dancing skills. Later the guests were served with a sumptuous lunch.
- Joginder Singh Hundal and Sidhu family donated $500.00 each to the World Sikh News on this happy occasion.
The World Sikh News while thanking both the families, congratulates them and wishes the couple a long and happy married life.
