Japan wants India to sign N.P.T

TOKYO: Japanese Prime Minister Kiichi Miyazawa told Indian Prime Minister P.V.Narasimha Rao to sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty during his 90-minute resting here according to major Japanese newspapers.

But the Indian prime minister told his country’s journalists accompanying him that Miyazawa did no such thing.
