NEW DELHI, India: The political circles in New Delhi are full of speculative rumours that Mr. P.C. Alexander the present Indian High Commissioner in London is being tipped as the likely Governor of Jammu and Kashmir in place of Mr. Jagmohan who is being shifted to Punjab to replace Mr. S:S. Ray.
It is said that Mr. Ray’s handling of Punjab situation after the imposition of Central rule in Punjab is not being taken as tactful and is being considered to have failed to bring peace to this violence torn State. Mr. Jagmohan is known for his political Maneuvering and is also considered as a man of action and determination.
