Brar was arrested along with his few supporters by the Tam Taran police in fear of breach of peace. ‘The police took the plea that since both the diametrically opposite camps were to assembly at the Jallianwala Bagh with their timings also coinciding, not allowing both the rallies, were in the public interests to avert a possible clash.
