VANCOUVER: Recently LS.Y.F.(Canada) sub = unit Vancouver held a special Diwan at Khalsa Diwan Society in Vancouver to salute Harjinder Singh “Jinda’s” and Sukhdev Singh “Sukha’s” contributions to the Sikh nation’s current struggle for justice. Special prayers were also performed for the Chardhikala of these two brave Sikhs. First to speak was I .S.Y.F. national panel president, Bhai Jagtaur Singh Sandhu. He spoke on what could be learned from the commitment that Harjinder Singh and Sukhdev Singh are showing. Even in the face of death these two justice loving patriots of the Khalsa Panth are not bowing their heads to the Indian Government.
Next to speak was I.S.Y.F. General Sec. of Canada, Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa. He is a close associate of Harjinder Singh “Jinda.” He spoke on the ultimate sacrifices that their parents have given. Never will the Sikh nation forget them, They are the ones who gave life to these true lions of the Sikh faith.
The speakers were followed by I.S.Y.F. coverseriery Jatha’s, which the Sath-Sangat listened to enthusiastically Bhai Ranjit Singh Dosanjh, president of I.S.Y.F. Vancouver, then spoke of how Bhai Harjinder Singh and Sukhdev, Singh were true Sikhs of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. They could not idly stand by when the Harminder Sahib and 37 other religious shrines were attacked and copies of Guru Granth Sahib were destroyed.
