COCHIN: The final award of the so called Ravi Beas Tribunal will be submitted by the middle of next month according to the chairman of the tribunal, Balkrishan Eradi. The three men Tribunal will have final round of discussions in Cochin tomorrow. Justice Eradi who is on the city in this connection, told the newsmen that the Tribunal would decide on the four references from the concerned states of Punjab. Haryana, Rajasthan and also from the Central Government.
It may be recalled that the Eradi tribunal was set up after amending the interstate river water dispute act, earlier it did not provide for interstate disputes of the rivers which did not pass through that state. This is a special measure only to take away Punjab water to other states.
