NEW DELHI: The first Indo-U.S joint naval exercise is to be held in the Indian Ocean on May 27 & 28 official sources said on May 15.
The sources described the exercise as symbolic since a frigate and a destroyer from each side would participate in the exercise. This would involve about 500 officers and men from each side the sources said. An senior officials exercise is expected to provide Indian Navy information about USs’ advanced techniques.
