BOMBAY: Mr. Bal Thackeray Shiv Sena Chief has said “an Indo-Pak war over the Kashmir issue is inevitable” reports PTI.

Expressing concern over the volatile situation in the States of Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab he said the imbroglio was difficult for the National Front government to solve.

Addressing a Press conference here last night after a massive rally held to mark the opening of the BJP Shiv Sena election campaign for the coming Maharashtra Assembly elections, Mr. Thackeray demanded the imposition of martial law in the strife torn States.

Stating that national interest was this party’s foremost Priority, Mr. Thackeray said the Shiv Sena was in favor of postponing construction of the Rama temple at Ram Janambhoomi in Ayodhya taking into consideration the situation in Kashmir.

Responding to a query, the Shiv ‘Sena Chief said a coalition government would be formed in the State if the BJP Shiv Sena combine was elected to power.
