Our Executive Committee has reviewed your Press Release of January 27, 1985 concerning W.S.O., and unanimously concluded as follows:
During this dire time when the entire Sikh nation needs total unity and commitment for their cause, the officers of the Federation of Sikh Societies of Canada have sowed the seeds of disunity for self-glorification by publicly attacking Major General Bhullar and the World Sikh Organization. In fact the Federation has effectively played into the hands of the anti-Sikh elements and thus fulfilled their policy of ‘‘divide & rule” the Sikhs!
If the officers of the Federation do not cease and desist immediately from their destructive actions then the Indo-Canadian Sikh Association will be forced to reconsider its affiliation with the Federation and also to call upon other Sikh Societies to do so.
