NEW DELHI (PTI): India Feb.15 announced a five million dollar credit to Tajikistan as the two countries signed five agreements and a protocol to bolster ties in economic, trade, commerce, banking, culture and sports fields.

India could step up exports of consumer goods besides setting up joint ventures and training of marketing and production personnel.

Mr, Abdullojanov invited Indian Industrialists to set up joint ventures to make use of abundantly available raw materials in his country.

India has now signed these agreements with all the five central Asian republics which formed part of former USSR.
