NEW DELHI: External Affairs Minister1.K. Gujral last week said India’s response to Pakistan Premier Benazir Bhutto’s latest unconditional offer for resumption of bilateral talks will be ‘helpful’. “Our responses will be helpful. We are willing to discuss everything on earth with our neighbors,” Gujral said.
Gujral made this comment when he was repeatedly asked by newsmen for his reaction to Bhutto’s unconditional offer last week for resumption of talks; His reaction came after the conclusion of his scheduled meeting with newsmen, convened in connection with his taking over additional charge as the water resources minister.
