NEW DELHI, Oct 13, Reuter: A clash between supporters of rival political parties left 13 people dead in Northeast India, police said on Thursday.
Fights between members of the Ruling Congress (I) Party and Communist Party of India (M) broke out on Wednesday at a leftwing rally in the town of Birchandramanu in Tripura State.
United News of India said 10 Communists, one Congress member and two policemen were killed in the fighting which continued for several hours.
