The Punjab police is reported to have eliminated some of the militants who surrendered encase earlier this year. This action of the police though vehemently denied by police official scemscredible because some noted militants like Gulwinder Singh (Gaina) who was in police custody is now untraceable and believed to have been Killed. The police have resorted to this police due to increasing number of militants who had been let off after the surrender having relapsed into their earlier activities, One of them Sajjan Singh ‘Happy’ of Patiala district is now a member of the core committee of Babbar Khalsa and his name has appeared on a number of pamphlets.
