CHANDIGARH: A senior Indian police officer O.P.Sharma reacted with disbelief a statement by the Khalistan Commando Force (Jaffarwal group) that the outfit was responsible for the Bombay blasts. The caller, Sardul Singh, told PTT’s bureau at Jalandhar owing responsibility and said that the incident showed that the Khalistan forces were alive and kicking not withstanding Indian claims of having suppressed the movement. Sharma said that the K.C.F. was not capable of the quality of the strike at Bombay. Even otherwise almost everyone in the force had been eliminated. Its leader, Bhai Wassan Singh Jaffarwal, was living in Pakistan for many years.
