Everyone is lead to believe that India is a secular state. Constitutionally it may be, but practically the Hinduism being the religion of the majority is considered as a state religion. In fact the identity of minority religions has been ignored.

This exemplifies the refined operation of Indian Government and its protégées to bury the minority religions under the carpet and still claim to be secular.

WSO’s President S. Gian Singh Sandhu has already written to the British Columbia’s premier in this regard and expressed his feelings.
