NEW DELHI: The Indian women’s team finished a creditable third in the first Asian cross country championship held at Japan recently.
Giving details of the achievements of the Indian team to the meet held at Fukuoka on March 10 Suresh Kalmadi president of the Amateur Athletic Federation of India said that the Indian men’s team too could have done well but for limited participation.
