NEW YORK: Since their debacle in the International Immigrants Parade on October 26, 1986, in New York, the Indian Consulate has stepped up their Activites among the Sikhs in the ‘Tristate area. They are wooing and using some Sikhs in order to, make them compromise their beliefs and convictions for small favours.

 At a recent dinner hosted by the Indian Consulate in New York, the following Sikhs were present

  1. Dr. Satwant Kaur Dhamoon and her husband S, Rajinder Singh Dbamoon. Dr. Satwant Kaur Dhamoon is the acting president of the Sikh Women’s International Organization.
  2. Daljit Singh Ahluwalia and his wife Daljit Singh Ahluwalia is the ex-president of Congress I in New York. He is considered a close associate of Buta Singh. He also allegedly played a key role in disrupting the Akali Dal function held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York in 1981
