NEW DELHI: Thirty-three officers and 572 JCOs and other ranks have been killed in Sri Lanka since the Indian Peace Keeping Force operations began.
About 97 officers and 1605 JCOs have been injured up to September 30, 1988 according to information given in the Rajya Sabha this year.
In another reply it was stated that from the beginning of this year, 13 men are reported missing until October 31, 1988.
It was also stated that until the end of August this year Rs 122.82 corer has been spent on IPKF Operations.
