NEW DELHI, India: President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. L.K. Advani, has refuted the Indian govern ment’s accusation of Pakistan’s involvement in the Punjab affairs.
Speaking on the occasion of the observance of “Punjab Day in Bombay”, the BJP President said “Punjab problem is not the creation of Pakistan or any other foreign forces but is the creation of our own follies”. A report received here said.
Mr. Advani demanded the publication of the Mishra Commission Report on the anti-Sikh riots following the assassination of Mrs. Indira Gandhi, imposition of President’s rule in the Punjab state and employment of army to wipe out violence from Punjab.
