ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on April 8 said that it has requested the Indian authorities to release four Pakistan army personnel who had “inadvertently” crossed the border into India on March 13.
“The army officials crossed the border by mistake and were not on any clandestine mission as they were carrying their identity papers” a foreign office spokesman told newsmen here.
According to him the army men had moved across the border in the Kasur sector and were “Waylaid” by Indian troops.
