KATHMANDU: India Tuesday agreed to purchase all the surplus electricity generated by Nepal.
Indian Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar announced this after his 90-minute talk with Nepalese premier Dr Krishna Prasad Bhattarai and with officials of both the countries collectively.
