NEW DELHI (PTI): The chairman of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Dr. V.Kurien, recently said India will become the topmost producer of dairy products including milk in the world in the next six years if it sustains its present growth momentum.
‘Currently India’s dairy industry stands second in the world after the United States due to the major role played by more than 65,000 dairy cooperatives in moving India into the forefront of the sector,” Dr. Kurien said.
