JALANDHAR: Is India preparing for another operation “Blue Star”? This question arises following Punjab chief minister Beant Singh’s statement here that Sikhs would not be allowed to hold congregation at Akal Takhat Sahib, Amritsar, to perform last rites on the deaths of Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha and Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda in accordance with the Sikh religious rites, Beant Singh said that the Sikhs would not be permitted to gather at Akal Takhat for the Purpose. The various Akali groups had earlier stated that the bhog Ceremony for the ‘wo Sikh youths would be per formed at Akal Takhat.
