NEW DELHI, India: India is dumping arms in Kashmir and may try to intimidate Pakistan by opening a front there, according to the national Urdu daily “NawaeWaqt”.
Quoting reliable sources from London the daily said the Srinagar Airport was being expanded to facilitate landing of Soviet made transport planes to carry lethal equipment.
It is also learnt through these sources that two new airports have been constructed in Leah where Fokker military planes can easily land.
Three new flights have been already added to the Fokker service on DelhiLeah route, the sources said.
The sources claim that a large number of helicopters have been placed at different places in the valley and some 40 Soviet experts are busy planning air attacks.
The sources said the Indian Army has also been provided 400,000 uniforms used for protection against freezing temperatures.
